The Sitting Room
In keeping with this traditional family farm the accommodation "Hilda" is named after Viv's paternal grandmother.
This skilful conversion of pre-Victorian farm buildings offers spacious accommodation, with WiFi, for a couple, or single occupancy. The rooms are decorated in 'earthborn' clay paint, feature artwork on the walls and are light and airy by day but cosy of an evening with electric heating to radiators.
Breakfast is taken in the guests' Dining Room which leads off the decking area. Tariff £85 per night at "Hilda".
Please Note: We cannot accept single night bookings during June, July or August.
Accommodation
From decking, glazed door into:
Sitting Room. Light and airy with some exposed brickwork and pictures on the walls. Wooden floor with rug. Window overlooking decking and Courtyard. Two-seater sofa and side table with lamp. Wall heater. Flat screen TV/DVD player. Radio/CD player. Table with kettle, cafetière and tray with a good choice of Fairtrade hot drinks plus fresh milk.
Double doors to:
Bedroom. A spacious room with exposed roof beams, Super king-sized bed (converts easily to two single beds if required) with bedside tables and lamps. Large double wardrobe with plenty of hangers and hooks. Easy chair. Hairdryer. Wooden floor with rugs and artwork on the walls. Large window looking to farmyard and the 16th century farmhouse.
Double doors to private outside space giving open access to large grassed area with views across fields to the west.
Ensuite Wet Room. Fully tiled with exposed roof beams. Shower, wash
basin, WC, mirror, heater unit and heated towel rail. A range of 'Basic Earth Botanicals' toiletries is provided.
Outside Space
- Large area of decking with table and chairs and potted plants within
a gated courtyard. Exterior lights. - Private outside space, accessed by double doors from bedroom.
